Obituary for Guy Brown

A lifelong horseman, Guy Brown passed away earlier this week. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. Cecil Brown, operated Brown’s Hoss-pitality Stables. Brown and his brothers, Jim and Gene, grew up in the business and continued the family tradition.
Guy Brown participated in many facets of the industry, including auctioneer, horse show manager, steward, and paddock announcer. Pennsylvania natives, he and his wife Karen Homer-Brown, a well-respected horsewoman and show official, have been residents of Georgetown, Kentucky, for several years.
