Applications Being Accepted for ESC Foundation's Lesson Horse Sponsorship
Wednesday, December 3, 2025
Equine Sports Council Foundation is accepting applications from new and/or growing lesson programs that need an additional lesson horse. The horse will be sourced from approved rescue organizations, selected by the lesson program's trainer/instructor, and the adoption and transportation fees will be paid by ESCF.
"The lesson program might need a beginner lunge line horse, an intermediate mount that can give group lessons, or maybe something a little fancier to take to horse shows," said Jackie Hale, ESCF Director. "Applicants will be asked to demonstrate their specific need and how an additional horse will help to further their program's growth and success."
Applications are being accepted until December 31, 2025. Depending on the number of applicants, sponsorship costs, and funding available, at least one, possibly two lesson horses will be awarded. The announcement will be made at the United Professional Horseman's Association (UPHA) Convention in January. Instructors, visit https://fs24.formsite.com/equinesports/fi6lahdeju/index to complete an application.
